And in a shit load of pain.
It’s getting to the point where things like:
If you’re anything like me, you’ve tried every pill and potion in the book:
Birth control? Too much responsibility.
Nothing seems to work.
So, what's left to do?
I tried these five things, and haven’t had major cramps since:
1. Magnesium Supplements
During our cycles, our body’s magnesium levels are at their lowest state.
By adding magnesium to your diet-during, or before your menstrual cycle- you can reduce the likelihood of cramps, bloating, and fatigue.
I’m not really into tablet supplements, and prefer to get my magnesium naturally, but if you’d like, you can always pop a pill…of magnesium that is lol.
While you may do any exercise of your choice, I suggest taking up yoga to alleviate yourself of your monthly burdens. In addition to relieving stress, breaking a sweat, and increasing your flexibility, yoga also helps to stimulate pelvic blood flow, which can not only reduce your pain, but make your flow lighter than usual.
You hate water.
Or, maybe you don’t hate it; you just don’t feel like drinking it.
You need it.
By keeping your body hydrated, you retain less water, which reduces bloating.
Not to mention, it keeps your skin looking flawless. Hello, somebody?
4. Heating Pad
5. American Ginseng Tea
In addition to Ginseng, I also love Chamomile( helps you relax and sleep),or Starbucks’ Venti Mint Green Tea. Just my personal faves though!
